Separation

If you are going through separation or divorce you may be feeling a whole range of unpleasant emotions all at once. You are not alone. We are here to help you.

Couples Therapy

Relationships require hard work, which is why we offer couples therapy. Our psychologists and therapists have successfully helped many people in relationships.

Identity

In psychology, the term “identity” is most commonly used to describe personal identity, or the distinctive qualities or traits that make an individual unique. Identities are strongly associated with self-concept, self-image (one’s mental model of oneself), self-esteem, and individuality.

Family Therapy

Our family therapy psychologists and therapists have helped many families achieve positive outcomes with family therapy, so we know that whatever challenges you’re facing, we may help.

Grief and Loss

Whether through the death of someone close, the end of a relationship or the loss of a job, there is an array of complex feelings, behaviours and thoughts that occur that challenge everyone.

Is this only for performance anxiety?

No. It’s one of the most common reasons people first get in touch, but it’s rarely the whole picture.

This work covers the full experience of a creative life, including things such as improving the quality and enjoyment of performance, setting values based goals for your career, coping with burnout, dealing with the impact of touring on your relationship and mood and more.

Who is this for?

Musicians, singers, actors, dancers, visual artists and creatives of any discipline, from students through to touring professionals.

It also extends to the people around them: teachers, conductors, directors and crew, who carry their own version of the pressure, and to the partners and families navigating a performing life alongside someone else.

Is this an inclusive, LGBTQIA+ affirming space?

Yes. The arts community has a high proportion of LGBTQIA+ representation, and affirming practice isn’t an add-on here, it’s core to how I work. I bring significant experience working with LGBTQIA+ clients specifically, alongside a broader commitment to neurodiversity affirming and culturally responsive care.

Being a performer or creative inherently means being vulnerable in front of others. You deserve a space where you can show up completely as yourself.

Outcomes

As psychologists and therapists, we offer a confidential objective sounding board for you.

We listen to you without judgement and work with you to provide practical strategies, support and insight based on up to date scientific research to help support change and better manage any emotional and mental health issues.

We also support you if you are wanting to improve your performance.

Use the contact form on this page to make an enquiry today or feel free to call us to discuss your needs.

Family Therapy explores how relationships affect patterns of behaviour, individual thoughts, and feelings, enabling family members to help each other.
